Everything you need to know about preparing for your visit, what to expect, and how to take care of your skin afterward.

We recommend pressing pause on exfoliants, active ingredients, prescription topicals and facial waxing for at least 3 days before your appointment.

If you have facial hair, skip shaving the day of your visit to keep your skin calm and ready.

Most importantly — come as you are, but come honest. Tell us what you're using, what you've tried and what your skin has been going through. Every detail helps us customize your Reset and deliver that effortless, lit-from-within glow.

Your skin naturally renews itself about every 28 days. Monthly treatments allow us to work with that cycle, keeping your complexion clear, balanced, and progressively brighter with each visit.

This isn't a temporary boost — it's strategic maintenance designed to keep your skin evolving.

Yes — you can absolutely enjoy a Skin Reset while pregnant or nursing.

We safely perform customized treatments that may include facial cleansing, gentle exfoliation, light peels, and facial massage.

However, we avoid more intensive procedures such as deep chemical peels and microneedling during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Every body is different, and every pregnancy is unique. We always recommend checking with your physician for personal guidance. When booking, please let us know that you are pregnant or nursing, and share any recommendations from your doctor.

Talk openly with your Esthetician — we'll tailor your treatment to support your skin safely and beautifully.

We recommend waiting until the scab has fully shed and the skin underneath is completely healed before booking your Skin Reset.

Active or healing cold sores can be aggravated by facial massage and hands-on techniques. In some cases, irritation may even spread to other areas of the face. Your safety always comes first, which is why our Estheticians follow strict treatment guidelines.

Yes — if you're feeling well and booking your appointment for hydration, relaxation, and gentle facial massage, you're absolutely welcome in the treatment room.

However, if you're planning a deep cleansing facial or microneedling, you may want to consider timing.

During the first days of menstruation:

  • Skin often becomes oilier and more reactive
  • Healing after extractions or microneedling may take longer
  • Elevated prostaglandins (inflammatory hormones) can increase sensitivity and discomfort
  • There may be a slightly higher risk of bruising and prolonged recovery

If you do choose to come in, simply let your Esthetician know you're on your cycle. We can adjust the intensity of the treatment to keep your experience comfortable and supportive.

To protect your results and your skin we recommend waiting at least two weeks after receiving Botox, dermal fillers, facial laser hair removal, aggressive chemical peels, or microneedling before booking your Skin Reset.

Your skin needs time to settle, heal, and stabilize after more intensive treatments. Performing a facial too soon can interfere with results or increase sensitivity.

For the next 7 days, please avoid:

  • Saunas, steam rooms, swimming pools, and tanning beds
  • Direct sun exposure (use SPF 50 daily)
  • Laser hair removal, waxing, or shaving the face
  • Aggressive exfoliants or active acids in your skincare
  • Excessive touching or picking
  • Harsh rubbing, scrubs, or friction

To protect your results:

  • Change your pillowcases and face towels within 24 hours
  • Keep makeup brushes and sponges freshly cleaned
  • Keep your routine simple, gentle, and hydrating

Cancellation Policy

We value your time and the expertise of our estheticians. If you need to adjust your plans, please keep the following in mind:

  • 24+ Hours Notice: Life happens! If you need to cancel at least 24 hours before your visit, you can do so easily through your online account or by calling your local shop directly.
  • Less Than 24 Hours Notice: Cancellations made within the 24-hour window are subject to a 10% late-cancellation fee. This helps us support our therapists who have reserved that time specifically for you. To cancel late, please call your shop so we can notify your therapist immediately.

Arrival & Late Policy

To get the most out of your reset, we recommend arriving 5 minutes early to settle in. First-time clients, please arrive 10 minutes early so we can get your profile set up!

  • The "Short & Sweet" Rule: If you arrive after your scheduled start time, we will still provide treatment, but your session may be shortened to stay on schedule for the next guest.
  • The 10-Minute Cutoff: If you are more than 10 minutes late, we won't be able to provide your service, and a 10% missed-appointment fee will apply.

Community Decency Agreement

We are dedicated to providing a sanctuary of safety and inclusivity for every person who walks through our doors. By visiting us, you're joining a community built on mutual respect.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination, racism, misogyny, or aggressive behavior toward our staff or other guests. We reserve the right to refuse service or remove individuals from our community to protect the well-being and decency of our environment.

We believe in healthy boundaries and an anti-racist, pro-kindness atmosphere.

Release of Liability & Waiver

By booking a treatment, you acknowledge that skincare services involve certain inherent risks. You agree to:

  1. Disclose all relevant health conditions and allergies.
  2. Update us on any changes to your health or medications.
  3. Release Skin Reset from liability regarding any personal injuries or reactions resulting directly or indirectly from your treatment.
